Our client wanted to improve online exposure and better promote their hotel property in a highly competitive global market. They contact the ApexTech team to build a modern online booking engine to boost more direct reservations through their website. The hotel also needed functionality that facilitates the rebooking process given the increased number of canceled trips and postponed travel dates (due to COVID).

What we did
Phase 1
Once thoroughly studying and evaluating the existing technology, market nuances, and strategic objectives, the Apextech team applied extensive knowledge and expertise in building a booking platform. We developed a booking engine with search and ticketing capabilities, allowing the hotel to receive direct bookings via the website and social media channels. On top of this, guests can package flights, activities, transfers, and tours together with the hotel rooms.
Phase 2
Our team introduced a Central Rebooking Unit to automate the rebooking process and queue management. The system allows sending notifications to inform customers about any room reservation changes.
Phase 3
We extended our booking system solution with custom functionality that allowed customers to book rooms and popular hotel properties from other customers once they had been canceled. This Wishlist feature helped organize and manage the queue for hotel property in high demand while satisfying customers.
